Being the lone black sheep in her family no longer bothers Rana Malik. She has a goal: to stop having casual hookups, change her bad-girl persona, and meet the kind of Mr. Right her traditional mother would approve of. It’s not on the menu? The gorgeous, melancholy Mr. Right Now who resides next door, and all the ways he piques her interest. The two leads are both wonderful people and fascinating characters. The protagonist character, Rana, is incredibly humorous and self-assured but she still struggles with anxiety. Micah has experienced trauma and occasionally struggles. Nevertheless, both of these individuals are responsible, own up to their mistakes, and take the initiative rather than waiting for the other to inspire them.
